Aged care aroma packages
Sana Turnock successfully established and managed aromatherapy programs in Perth-based aged care facilities from 1999 to 2009. Sana’s programs were designed to assist residents in a number of ways, including promote better sleep patterns, calm and settle, uplift, during times of palliative care and in wound care (skin tears).
Sana has observed numerous benefits and positive outcomes of aromatherapy within aged care environments, not only for residents, but for staff as well as residents’ families. As a result, Sana developed Aromatherapy in Aged Care Packages for facilities.
Three start-up packages are on offer:

- The Palliative Care Kit
- The Wound Care Kit
The kits come complete with specific essential oils, necessary aromatherapy products appropriate to the kit, and The Aromatherapy in Aged Care Guide written by Sana Turnock. No kit would be complete without this guide. It has a straightforward layout, is easy to read and is used as the main resource for management and staff. Self-paced learning questions are available at the end of each section.
